Kitchen Tools

ExcaliburDehydratorExcalibur Dehydrator: I love my Excalibur dehydrator which I use to prepare raw foods and dehydrate everything from nuts, seeds and beans to kale (love the kale chips!). It has a 24-hour timer which allows me to “set it and forget it” overnight without worrying about over-dehydrating.

OmegaJuicerOmega 6th Generation Juicer: I use my juicer several times a week. I love it because it is a masticating juicer, so the juice lasts up to 3 days when refrigerated vs. only a few hours when using a centrifugal juicer. This type of juicer also handles leafy greens better and can even handle wheatgrass.

Books & Videos

CleanGutClean Gut by Alejandro Junger, M.D.: An excellent book that explains how the root of disease is in the gut and what we should do about that.

HungryForChange“Hungry for Change”: This is an eye-opening documentary on diet, weight loss and the food industry. I found this to be a very compelling video!

ForksOverKnives“Forks over Knives”: This video is also compelling! It shows how diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.
